This is the electronic equivalent of Chemical Abstracts. It offers comprehensive coverage of chemistry and the life sciences including biochemistry, biology, pharmacology, medicine, and related disciplines. In addition to journal articles, SciFinder also indexes patents, book chapters, conference proceedings, technical reports, and dissertations. All citations include abstracts. SciFinder allows searching by research topic, author, chemical substance or reaction (including structure and molecular formula), and CA abstract number or patent number. References are added daily from over 9,500 journals and 50 patent issuing authorities. SciFinder covers more than 26 million substances.
