Collection Managemen
Collection management supports the teaching, research, and services activities of the University by identifying, developing, managing and preserving the collections of K-State Libraries. Components of collection management include: budgeting, selection and deselection, collection evaluation, collection preservation, and the development of policies and procedures related to these activities.

Responsibilities for liaison with departments across campus are shared among 14-16 subject librarians, who are assigned selection, collection management, and services for their designated subject areas.
