Rooms Available for University-related Events
Hemisphere Room (Hale 501)
The Hemisphere Room is available for university colleges and departments to use for university-related events during working hours, M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm for a $75/hour (or $525/day) fee. An additional $100 fee will be charged for times outside the normal working hours or weekends. The $100 fee will also be applied for no-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. Media, equipment use, setup and tear down are included in the listed charges.
Three room setups are available:
Room capacity is 134 people with no tables or chairs. Capacity numbers will be strictly enforced to adhere to fire and safety regulations.
Limited, light refreshments and light lunches are allowed. Catered full meal events in the Hemisphere Room must be pre-approved by the Dean or the Director of Facilities. All catering and refreshments arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the hosting unit. Please communicate these arrangements in your room reservation in order to obtain access for delivery.
To reserve the Hemisphere Room, please complete the room reservation form and submit it as instructed. Only requests made by e-mail (form) will be taken. A reply will be sent within two days following receipt of the request form. Please contact the Libraries’ Administrative Services office at 532-7400 for further information and clarifications. To cancel a previously made reservation, please complete and submit the cancellation form at least 48 hours before event. If form is not received, reservation will be treated as "no show" and the additional $100 fee will apply.
William T. Kemper Foundation Conference Room (Hale 401B)
This is an open meeting room that can be reserved for student organization use through the Administrative Services office at no charge. No food or drink is permitted. Please call 532-7400 to make a reservation.
